How R.O.S. handles your information

The short version

Your profile, answers, tasks, notes, and reports are stored on your own phone, not on our servers.
Your partner sees only what you choose to share with them.
The R.O.S. Coach is off until you turn it on. When you send it a message, your Coach messages and a summary of your profile (plus whatever your partner has chosen to share) are sent to Anthropic, which runs the Claude AI model, to write the reply.
We don't store your Coach conversations, and we don't sell your information.

R.O.S. (Relationship Operating System) is offered by RMC Capital Coaching ("we", "us"). This policy covers the website at rosplatform.app and the R.O.S. app at rosplatform.app/app.

What stays on your phone

R.O.S. doesn't require an account. Everything you create in the app is saved in your browser's storage on your device:

Your name and your partner's name, your Snapshot answers, and your profile scores
Your settings (such as faith, focus, and season of life), tasks, check-ins, and progress
Assessment reports you upload, and any notes you add to them
Your R.O.S. Coach conversations

This information doesn't reach our servers. It stays until you clear your browser's data for this site or tap Erase this phone's data in the app's Settings. If you lose or reset your phone, it's gone unless you made a backup code.

What you choose to share

R.O.S. connects two people with share codes and invite links that you send yourself, by text, email, or any app you like. A code carries only what its owner has agreed to share. You decide whether your partner sees your summary, your detailed profile, and your check-ins, and you can change that at any time.

Backup codes hold a copy of your profile and progress so you can restore them on another device. Keep them private, as you would a password. Backup codes don't include your Coach conversations.

The R.O.S. Coach

The Coach is an optional AI guide powered by Claude, a model made by Anthropic. It stays off until you turn it on in the Coach tab.

Each time you send the Coach a message, R.O.S. sends the following through our server to Anthropic so it can write the reply:

Your Coach messages: the message you just sent and the earlier messages in that conversation
A summary of your profile: your behavioral scores and style, motivators, Working Genius, and the settings you chose (such as faith, focus, season of life, and stressors)
A summary of the other person's profile, only if they have chosen to share their detailed profile with you. Otherwise the Coach receives only their name.
Your current practice: this week's tasks and your check-in scores

Anthropic uses this information to generate the Coach's reply and handles it under its own commercial terms and privacy policy. Our server passes it along but doesn't save your messages. Your conversation is kept only on your phone, and your partner never sees it.

Please don't put information in Coach messages that you wouldn't want processed by an AI service, such as other people's private details, passwords, or financial or medical identifiers. The Coach can be wrong, and it is not therapy or a crisis service. If you are in danger, call 911.

To keep the Coach affordable and prevent abuse, our server counts Coach questions. Daily counts, tied to a random identifier the app creates on your device and to the IP address your request comes from, are kept for up to 48 hours. The count of free trial questions is tied to the device identifier only and kept for up to one year, so the free trial isn't repeated. Our logs record technical details such as the number of words processed and any errors, not the content of your messages.

Assessments

You can request TTI Success Insights assessments in the app. R.O.S. doesn't take payment in the app. When you request an assessment, the app opens your own email app with a message to us that lists the assessments, the names of the people taking them, the email addresses where their links should go, and the total. Nothing is sent until you send that email yourself.

We use the information in your request to arrange payment with you and to send each person their private assessment link. Links come through a licensed TTI Success Insights distributor, and the assessment itself is taken on TTI's platform under TTI's own privacy terms. When you're ready, you can upload your finished report into R.O.S., where it stays on your phone.

Before we begin taking payment online, we'll update this policy to describe how payment information is handled.

Services that help run R.O.S.

Cloudflare hosts the website and our server. Like any web host, it processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Anthropic generates R.O.S. Coach replies, as described above.
Google Fonts and cdnjs deliver the site's fonts and a PDF-reading library. Your browser connects to them directly, which shares your IP address with them.

We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and we don't sell or rent your personal information.

Who R.O.S. is for

R.O.S. is intended for adults 18 and older. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

Delete your data: tap Erase this phone's data in the app's Settings, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
Clear a Coach conversation: tap New conversation in the Coach tab.
Change what your partner sees: update your sharing choices in the app's Settings.
Don't use the Coach: if you never turn it on, nothing is sent to Anthropic.

Changes to this policy

If we change how R.O.S. handles information, we'll update this page and its effective date. For significant changes, such as opening assessment purchases, we'll update the policy before the change takes effect.
